– I will only say that he was my favorite. He would fit our team perfectly. He was successful in Switzerland and the Bundesliga, he also made it to the finals of the European Championships in France and tied with Portugal in the first match. But he couldn’t take it because he had an important surgery scheduled. He was unable to work with the staff. At the match with Russia, we would at best have a coach walking on crutches – Tomasz Hajto said openly in an interview with Polsat Sport.
