Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Alexander Emelianenko will fight against Jeff Monson. He announced this on Instagram.
“December 10, Russia against the United States, Emelianenko against Monson,” the fighter wrote under his photo with Monson. By what rules they will fight, the Russian did not specify.
On September 17, Emelianenko spoke about the possibility of holding this fight. “Yes, Monson is already old, disabled, can barely walk. He’s not a boxer. How many years I have not been in the hall. He’s a deputy, ”the fighter said.
The athletes have already met in a duel according to the rules of MMA. The fight took place on November 15, 2012 and ended with Monson’s victory.
At the professional level in MMA, Monson scored 60 victories and 26 defeats. Also, the heavyweight regularly performed at international grappling and jiu-jitsu tournaments.
