Ecuadorian midfielder Jeremy Sarmiento secured a contract until 2026 with Brighton & Hove Albion of the English league, as announced by the club on Monday.
“Brighton & Hove Albion is pleased to announce that Jeremy Sarmiento has signed a new contract until June 2026″, the seagulls published on their official website.
Brighton highlighted the adaptation of the 19-year-old Ecuadorian in his ranks, with “a excellent progress during the first half of the season with the club, his debut in the Premier League and his international debut with the Ecuadorian national team”, last September.
Sarmiento signed for Brighton in July 2021, made his first-team debut in October as a substitute in the Carabao Cup penalty shootout loss to Leicester City, then had his Premier League debut against Leeds United in November and his first league start the following game against West Ham in December.
