Manchester United football player accused of violence suspended from games

Manchester United have issued a statement on the situation with striker Mason Greenwood. This was told by journalist Fabrizio Romano in Twitter.

The footballer was suspended from games and training for an indefinite period. The club noted that they were aware of the situation, but refused to comment on it until all the facts were clarified.

Earlier on January 30, Greenwood’s girlfriend, British model Harriet Robson, accused him of physical abuse. She posted several photos with traces of beatings. The girl showed a cut lip, as well as several bruises and bruises on different parts of the body. “For all those who wanted to know what Greenwood is really doing to me,” Robson wrote. The model also published several audio recordings in which the footballer rudely communicates with her in a raised voice.

Greenwood, 20, is a Manchester United alumnus. This season, he has played 24 matches in all competitions for the Mancunians. The player has six goals and two assists.
