The teams will be divided into three groups of four teams, in which the semifinals and the corresponding finals will be played.
The draw that will determine the pairings of the European qualifying playoffs for the World Cup in Qatar 2022 will be held in Zurich on November 26 (10:00 in Ecuador).
Twelve teams will participate in these qualifying rounds. They will be the ten second of each series in the group stage and the two best group winners of the 2020/21 League of Nations that have not finished among the first of the previous one of Qatar 2022.
