With Brazilians on the field, Lazio and Olympique de Marseille draw goalless for the Europa League

In Rome, Lazio and Olympique de Marseille drew goalless, in a match valid for the third round of the Europa League. The match was attended by some Brazilians. Felipe Anderson and Lucas Leiva played for the Italians, while Gerson and Luan Peres played for the French.

The hosts had the best opportunities to debut on the scoreboard. Five minutes into the second half, Immobile came face to face with the opposing goalkeeper, but kicked over the crossbar. Shortly thereafter, the Italian striker hit the net, however, the goal was disallowed for offside.

The result ended up not pleasing any of the teams. Lazio are second in the second place in Group E, with four points, while Olympique remain in third with three draws from three matches. The group’s classification could be changed, as Lokomotiv Moscow and Galatasaray face off this Thursday.

Next Sunday, Lazio will visit Verona, for the Italian Championship. On the same date, the Marseille team receives PSG, for the French.
