Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Fedor Emelianenko called the condition for a possible revenge with the Belarusian Andrei Orlovsky. His words on Thursday, October 21, are quoted by Sport24.
“Now I have nothing to do with Orlovsky’s attacks. It seems to me that everything was clear, a knockout was recorded. And as for the re-fight, then Andrey will need to leave the UFC and sign a contract with Bellator, ”the fighter said.
The next rival of 45-year-old Emelianenko will be American Timothy Johnson. Their fight will be led by the first Bellator tournament in Russia. It is scheduled for October 23rd.
In April 2020, Orlovsky admitted that he still dislikes Emelianenko. While communicating with fans on Instagram, the Belarusian said that he would like to “make a face” to his former rival.
The duel between Emelianenko and Orlovsky took place in January 2009 at the Affliction – Day of Reckoning tournament. The Russian fighter won by knocking out his opponent in the first round.
