The third round of the Europa League group stage continues this Thursday with strong emotions. Lyon, leaders in Group A with six points, are trying to maintain their 100% advantage when visiting Sparta Praga at the Letná Stadium in Prague. The French will practically guarantee a place in the next phase in case of a victory. That’s because the Czechs are in second place with four points.
In Group A, Rangers will play in Scotland against the Dane Brondby, who has a point. The Scots hold the flashlight with a point and this makes the confrontation a real shock for the desperate.
For Group B there is a direct confrontation for the leadership. PSV and Monaco face off in the Netherlands. The two teams share the top of the leaderboard with four points and whoever loses can leave the classification zone. That’s because Real Sociedad, which has two points, can impose itself in Switzerland against Sturm Graz, lantern without even having scored.
Living in a delicate situation, at the bottom, with just one point won, Napoli enters action for Group C. They receive Poland’s Legia at San Paolo Stadium, in Naples. The Poles lead with six points and one hundred percent success. If they get a win, the Italian team will be able to wrap the key. That’s because on Wednesday Leicester beat Sparta Moscow 4-3 in Russia and took second place with four points. Russians appear with three points.
