The coach of Russian biathletes said about the discrimination vaccinated by “Sputnik”

Yury Kaminsky, head coach of the Russian men’s biathlon team, spoke about vaccine discrimination before the Winter Olympics in China. He told the Metaratings portal about this.

He pointed out that Russians vaccinated with Sputnik V should be quarantined twice as long if they test positive for coronavirus. At the same time, the specialist noted, earlier Beijing assured that Russian drugs would be recognized on an equal footing with the rest at all races.

“And then there were various options, because of which the athletes find themselves in unequal conditions. Foreigners are more privileged in this regard. We had four people vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine, and two later got sick. Most of the team were vaccinated with Sputnik, and only one of them fell ill, ”the coach said.
