Colombian referees will direct Ecuador vs. Brazil on matchday 15 of the qualifier for Qatar 2022

The date will have Ecuadorian arbitration for the duel between Venezuelans and Bolivians. For matchday 16, it will be Brazilians who lead Ecuador vs. Peru.

The FIFA appointed the refereeing teams that will lead the games on dates 15 and 16 of the qualifiers South American teams heading to the Qatar 2022 World Cup, in which Ecuador will receive Brazil and visit Peru, on January 27 and February 1, respectively.

From Colombian nationality will be the judges who direct on Thursday, January 27 at the Rodrigo Paz stadium, in Quito, where they will be measured Ecuador and Brazil (16:00).

Wilmar Roldán will be the central judge, assisted by Alexander Guzmán and Jhon León, while Carlos Betancur will be the fourth referee of the match.

In the system of video arbitration (VAR) will be Uruguayan judges, with Leodan Gonzalez as principal, who will be assisted by Nicolás Taran.

The Peruvian Ana Pérez will be the arbitral advisor, and the Chilean Patricio Polic will be as quality manager.

In other games of day 15, the Argentine arbitration team headed by Dario Herrera will direct the game between Paraguay and Uruguay, in Asunción; the brazilian anderson daronco will be in charge of Chile vs. Argentina; and the Venezuelan Jesus Valenzuela will go to Colombia, which will receive a visit from Peru.

In Barinas, Venezuela measures Bolivia, match for which a Ecuadorian referee team. William Warrior will act as center back, assisted by Byron Romero and Ricardo Baren, with Luis Quiroz as fourth official. In the VAR will be Carlos Orbe and Christian Lescano.

It was known in advance that, for the Tricolor game in Peru, the arbitration would be Brazilian, a name ratified this Friday in the Conmebol statement.

For the date 16, the Tri will go to Lima, a duel that will be in charge of Wilton Sampaio, accompanied by Marcelo Van Gasse and Bruno Boschilia. Luiz Flavio de Oliveira will be the fourth referee of the game.

The Venezuelan Juan Soto was confirmed to take charge of the VAR, but his assistant is changed, with the Brazilian Rodrigo Correa as chosen.

Other authorities for this game are the Venezuelan Marlon Escalante as arbitral advisor and the Argentine Rodolfo Otero as quality manager.

For the remaining games of the day Brazilians were elected Bruno Arleu to lead Uruguay vs. Venezuela, and Raphael Claus for Argentina vs. Colombia.

To direct the duel between Brazilians and Paraguayans, a Facundo Tello, and for the duel between Bolivia and Chile the Venezuelan was chosen Alexis Herrera. (D)
