Getafe beats Granada in the Spanish Championship and distances itself from the Z4

Getafe beat Granada 4-2 at home this Thursday and opened four points from the relegation zone of the Spanish Championship. The home team’s goals were scored by Sandro Ramirez, Enes Unal, Maksimovic and Borja Mayoral, while Luis Suárez scored both of the visitors.

Now, Getafe rises to 16th place in La Liga, with 21 points. On the other hand, Granada remains two positions above, with 24.

The start of the game was hectic with two goals in less than 15 minutes. First it was Getafe who scored with Sandro Ramírez, in the 10th minute, after a beautiful finish from the edge of the area. Three minutes later, Jorge Molina crossed to Luis Suárez, who hit the right corner and tied the match.

In the second stage, Getafe scored again with 3 minutes of ball rolling. Enes Unal took a risk from outside the area and the ball landed in the left corner of the goal. At 18, Maksimovic, who had given the pass for the second goal, widened after taking advantage of the rebound inside the area.

There was still time for two more goals in the final minutes. At 33, the goalkeeper of Getafe, David Soria, gave the foot of striker Luis Suárez, who did not forgive. However, in the 42nd minute of the second half, Borja Mayoral, who had just entered, received inside the area and killed the game.

After the great victory, Getafe plays on Sunday, away from home, against Real Sociedad, at 14:30 (Brasília time). Granada will also host Osasuna on the 23rd, but a little earlier, at 10 am.
