THE Manchester United is not experiencing a peaceful phase and, after criticism of Rangnick’s work and rumors of Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure, the ball of the moment is Pogba. Back in training after being out of action since November, the coach of the English team was asked if he would play the midfielder and the answer was immediate: “Yes, of course”
“I also played with Nemanja Matic in the last few games and his contract is also expiring. My coaching contract also ends in the summer. We have the same goal. We have the same ambition to be as successful as possible in the next three or four months.”
It’s not the first window that Pogba has been involved in possible transfers out of Manchester. Juventus e PSG are the leading contenders at the time, but Rangnick doesn’t see it that way: “After two and a half months of injury and being fully fit again, he wants to show Manchester United fans, the board, the whole world what kind of player he can be? Even if it’s just to show enough for a new contract elsewhere, will he be highly motivated to do that and why shouldn’t I play with him?”
