Striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin will continue to be embezzled by Everton for the coming weeks. The player had a relapse in his recovery from a quadriceps injury.
At Everton since 2016, Lewin hasn’t played for the team since the 2-0 victory over Brighton on August 28th. The striker has three goals in three Premier League games.
The player, who has played for the English team, is Everton’s attacking reference, making a good partnership with Brazilian Richarlison. Last season, Calvert-Lewin scored 21 goals in 39 games.
Everton said in a note that the player will be out for “a few weeks” and that any updates on their physical status will be made at an “opportune time”.
The team led by coach Rafa BenÃtez has 14 points and is in eighth place in the Premier League. The Toffees’ next opponent will be Watford, on Saturday, at 11 am (GMT).
