Joel Valencia will play in Alcorcón, in the Second Division of Spain

The Ecuadorian from the English Brentford increases tricolor representation also integrated by Plata, in Valladolid, and Ferigra, in Las Palmas.

Joel Valencia joins the Ecuadorian footballers in the Second Division of Spain with his transfer to Alcorcón, a club with which the tricolor will be the rival of his compatriots Gonzalo Plata (Real Valladolid) and Erick Ferigra (Las Palmas).

The Alfareros team made Valencia’s signing official this Tuesday on its website: “He becomes a new AD Alcorcón player until the end of the season on loan from Brentford FC of the Premier League.”

Brentford owns the 27-year-old Ecuadorian player’s pass.

“Footballingly raised in our football, in the academies of teams such as Real Zaragoza or Málaga CF, he played in the national teams of lower categories of Ecuador and Spain; the Spanish-Ecuadorian winger went to the Slovenian league with FC Koper and from there to the Polish league with Piast Gliwice (where he won the league and was chosen as the best player in the Polish league in 2019) before arriving at Brentford, from which He was loaned out to Legia Warsaw”, added Alcorcón.

The man from Esmeralda will find himself in the Second Spanish Division with Plata, a starter at Valladolid, and Ferigra, who has lost space among the main roles of Las Palmas.

According to the season schedule, Valencia could be measured with Silver at the end of March, while with Ferigra it would be in mid-May.

After 23 games, Alcorcón is bottom of the Spanish championship with 11 points. (D)
