Cristiano Ronaldo has been out of the last two games of the Manchester United because of hip pain. This Tuesday, coach Ralf Rangnick updated the situation of the Portuguese star and predicted a possible return in the next match, against Brentford, on Wednesday.
“Cristiano and Marcus [Rashford] trained yesterday. So I suppose they will train today. But at the press conference for the game against Villa, I was sure that Cristiano would be available, but in the end he wasn’t. Same with Marcus. We have to wait for today’s training. Now, I think both can and will be available,” the German commander told a press conference.
