‘PSG’s lack of professionalism is what will make Kylian Mbappé leave,’ says Jerôme Rothen, former French club player

The former defender of the Parisian team and RMC Sport collaborator charged hard against PSG.

With five months to go until he is free, Kylian Mbappé’s future remains an enigma. Although in France they assure that PSG wants to renew him for a season and that the negotiations are on track, the player will not comment, a prioriuntil the end of this course.

Last Saturday, the French international experienced a tense episode during the match against Brest, complaining to the fourth referee that the refereeing is always the same.

Jerôme Rothen, former player of the Parisian team and collaborator of RMC Sport, charged harshly against PSG, assuring that the possible departure of Mbappé is due to the lack of professionalism of the current leader of Ligue 1, published daily AS from Spain.

“Ligue 1 has made him leave. It will go in any case. His behavior… It may happen that he has inappropriate words, it happens all the time, so we are not going to pull our hair out. There are games in which they react worse to provocation. For me, it’s a combination of things before we talk about refereeing.”

And he concluded: “Who made Mbappé leave? It’s PSG’s lack of professionalism that will see him go! PSG is the showcase of Ligue 1. There are clans and players who don’t mind being at PSG. When you are ambitious, if something important has to happen, it is at a professional level. At PSG, no one can be above their limits”, recognized Rothen, who considers that no star in Paris has been well treated. (D)
