Cristhian Noboa criticizes Gustavo Alfaro for not establishing an alignment and a definitive tactical system in the Ecuadorian team

The ‘Czar’, in force in the Russian Premier League, made it clear that he disagrees with the coach from the moment the roster is drawn up.

Cristhian Noboa reproached technical director Gustavo Alfaro on Tuesday for his long delay in establishing a definitive line-up in the Ecuadorian team that he has led since October 2020.

Noboa, who has not been called up since he played only two games with the Tricolor in the last Copa América in Brazil-2021, also expressed -in addition- that he is bothered by the lukewarmness with which a sector of the national sports press questions the Argentine’s performance Alfaro.

“I dislike a lot of things about the Ecuadorian. I live in Russia and for a foreigner to achieve something, he must sacrifice a lot to be respected. Anyone comes from outside and wants to invent warm water, we began to see it as the most, and I dislike that, “said Noboa in dialogue with the Internet program E2.

The 36-year-old Zar made it clear that he disagrees with Alfaro from the moment the roster is drawn up until the design of the starting eleven, since the Argentine coach has played 12 games of the tie heading to Qatar 2022 with 12 different formations.

“You try to do things that everyone realizes that this is not a team that plays championships, it is a National Team and the best team and the one with the most experience must play. Like it or dislike it is something else, but to this day I cannot say which is the starting team of the Ecuadorian team ”.

“It is impossible. Imagine how many games we have … And every time it changes and changes; there is no regularity, there is not even a (defined) alignment or a fixed tactic, at least, to say: ‘Let’s go 4-3-3. Perfect. We die in that one. I already have my players, ready. ‘ But no. All the time he changes, all the time he does this, all the time he says one thing and then he says another ”.

Likewise, Noboa regretted that national coaches have been questioned more harshly, but Alfaro is shown admiration for being a foreigner. “Bothers me a lot. Let’s not invent warm water and if we do things right we have to applaud it. When they are wrong, there is no need to make excuses for things. The least I want is to attract attention because I don’t win anything, ”said the PFC Sochi midfielder, who last Saturday scored his third goal in ten games for the Russian Premier League championship.

The Ecuadorian midfielder’s team is second with 21 points, one more than Dinamo Moscow and two less than the leader, Zenit.
