However, it may not be easy, given the still very serious financial problems. Messi signed with PSG until 2023, so the French are sure not to let him go for free, and his former club won’t have the funds to buy him out. In addition, the tense relationship between Messi and the president of Barcelona, Joan Laporta, may be an even greater problem – the Argentinean’s entourage does not believe in Laporta’s explanations that it was the regulations that prevented the extension of the contract with Messi and does not intend to talk to him.
