The Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic considered this Sunday that the Australian authorities “humiliated themselves” by deciding to expel world No. 1 tennis player Novak Djokovic after a long soap opera about his visa.
“They believe that with ten days of mistreatment they humiliated Djokovic”, the Serbian president told the local press. “They humiliated themselves, Djokovic can return to his country with his head held high and look everyone in the eye, “he added.
The Federal Court of Australia rejected the Serb’s appeal 34 years old, for which wanted to prevent his expulsion from the country and thus be able to conquer the Australian Open, which begins on Monday.
