The Australian Minister of Immigration confirmed this information. According to Reuters, the first racket of the world flew to Europe from Melbourne airport.

Djokovic left Australia after a court decision to deport the tennis player. Thus, he will not play in the Australian Open. Serb is the current trophy holder.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has already reacted to the decision of the Australian authorities. “They mocked the best tennis player for 11 days in order to hand him a decision made in essence from the very first day,” the politician said. Djokovic himself admitted that he was extremely disappointed with the current situation.

The tennis player has already tried to be expelled from the country. On January 10, the Serbian visa was canceled, since the document did not imply the inclusion of data on a medical exemption from vaccination against coronavirus. At first, Djokovic managed to win the appeal and avoid deportation.
