The hosts returned from the break at a high pace and extended the score at nine minutes. Nuno Mendes made a beautiful move on the left and crossed low to Kehrer, who only completed it to the bottom of the goal and secured the victory by 2 to 0.
Lens bate Saint-Etienne
Also this Saturday, Lens beat Saint-Étienne, away from home, by 2-1. The duel that took place at the Geoffroy-Guichard Stadium had the score open in the 38th minute of the first half, with Ryad Boudebouz, for the home team. In the 32nd minute of the complementary stage, Florian Sotoca equalized and Seko Fofana, at 50, guaranteed the visitors’ triumph.
With the victory, Lens occupies the 4th position of the French Championship and has 33 points. Saint-Étienne, who has 12, is the bottom of the competition after 20 disputed clashes.
Lens returns to the pitch on Saturday, at 17:00 (Brasília time), when it receives the Olympique de Marseille, third place. Saint-Étienne, in turn, visits the Lyonon Friday at the same time.
