This Friday, Neymar held a live on social media. Answering questions from followers, the Paris Saint-Germain player spoke about expectations for the World Cup with the Brazilian national team. The tournament will be held between November and December this year in Qatar.
“God willing, this Cup will be ours. We have a good player,” said the striker, who was left out of coach Tite’s call-up for the games against Ecuador and Paraguay, in the Qualifiers, as he is recovering from an injury in ankle, suffered on 28 November.
Neymar even highlighted that the absence of the lawns is “lasting longer”, projected the return and stressed that this year is “of many good things”.
“It wasn’t what I expected (the recovery), it lasted longer, the injury was complicated, that happens. Now it’s recovering, having a strong mind, this year is full of good things”, said the ace.
“Important year for me, in my career, I want to come back well, happy, strong. I want to come back with joy, giving pen and hat”, he added.
Before the World Cup, Neymar and the stellar PSG squad will have the mission to lead the team to the club’s first Champions League conquest. The Brazilian said he “will give his life” to lift the cup.
“I really want the Champions League, I really want it, I will give my life for the Champions League to come to Paris,” he said.
In the round of 16, PSG will face Real Madrid on February 15, at the Parc des Princes, and on March 9, at the Santiago Bernabéu.
