Earlier on Thursday, January 13, the Russian woman won the short program, receiving 90.45 points for her hire. She set a new world record, breaking her previous achievement.
The third place in the short program was taken by Russian Alexandra Trusova, her compatriot Anna Shcherbakova was fourth. The athletes will present their free program on January 15.
