Joaquín Pucheta denounces that they do not ‘let him train’ in Macará, a club that defends the end of the contract

An Argentine goalkeeper’s lawyer, the protagonist of an act of indiscipline in April, points out that “it is intended to disrespect” the agreement and speaks of “non-payment.”

The Argentine goalkeeper Jorge Joaquín Pucheta denounced on social networks that in Macará, a team he joined in January 2021 and with which he made the news in April for urinating behind the goal in a match, they do not “let him train”, an accusation that the Ambato club justifies with having decided to terminate the contract in advance with the footballer.

“They didn’t give me the clothes. It’s January 11 (Tuesday) and I’m waiting for the lawyer to speak, “said Pucheta in a video, which he later expanded:” Second day they won’t let me train in Macará. “

In statements to Direct SoccerLuis Miguel Pinto, the goalkeeper’s lawyer, explained: “He finished the previous season with the team and went to his country to discuss some very sensitive personal issues, of which the club had knowledge. While there, surprisingly, he was taken out of the campus chat and when he returned to practice on Tuesday they told him that they could not give him the implements and that he should speak with the leaders.

“They gave him a communication indicating that the club’s board of directors had decided to terminate the contract with the player in advance. This leaves us surprised, because he was present in 22 of the 30 matches of the tournament (LigaPro Serie A). And he has a valid contract until the end of the 2022 tournament, which is intended to be disrespectful ”, added Pinto.

According to Pucheta’s legal defender, Macará uses the act of indiscipline committed by the goalkeeper on April 17. That day, in the match against Orense, at the Bellavista stadium, the Argentine urinated behind the goal while the ball was in the opponent’s court, for which he was sent off at minute 90 + 3 and had to miss six games.

He was already sanctioned for thatPinto pointed out. “It is intended, in a forced way, to terminate the contract for that disciplinary offense committed in April. We are not going to allow that ”.

For his part, Orlando Salazar, trustee of the celestial club, declared in ABC Sports: “Unfortunately, Joaquín’s lawyers don’t know much about sports law. There is a clause in which there are no obligations to settle before the end of the contract. In the case of Pucheta’s contract, the team could terminate their employment relationship at any time. There is this clause in the contract and it does not contravene any rule in sports law ”.

The legal representative of Macará added: “In my opinion, Joaquín Pucheta is poorly advised. Pucheta is too complicated a person and that has prevented an understanding with him and his lawyers ”.

The 29-year-old Argentine goalkeeper defended 22 times (1,979 minutes) the portico of the Ambato team in LigaPro 2021 and two more in the South American Cup (preliminary phase), according to records from the club organization. In the domestic tournament he conceded 36 goals and recorded 65 saves, 7 catches, 3 punches and 13 punts.

Macará, led since August by Paúl Vélez, finished the Serie A tenth last year, running out of a ticket for the international competition next season. (D)
