Krasnodar is headed by the former Premier League club coach

Krasnodar announced the appointment of German Daniel Farke as head coach. This was reported on the website of the Russian team.

The contract with the 45-year-old specialist is valid until June 2024. The financial terms of the agreement were not specified. Farke’s assistant will be Edmund Riemer, and Christopher John and Chris Domogalla will join the bulls’ coaching staff.

From 2017 to 2021, Farke headed Norwich. He has led the team to the English Premier League (Premier League) twice. The coach was fired on November 7. The Canaries are in last place in the standings.

On January 5, Krasnodar terminated the contract with head coach Viktor Goncharenko. The club did not report the reasons for this decision. The Belarusian specialist took over the team on April 6, 2021. In the first part of the season of the Russian Premier League, Krasnodar finished in fifth place.
