This Wednesday, Porto beat Vizela 3-1 away from home and qualified for the semifinals of the Portuguese Cup. The favorites’ goals were scored by Uribe, Fábio Vieira and Evanilson, while Cassiano scored.
Porto opened the scoring early. Uribe, at 8 minutes, took advantage of a hit in the area and finished beautifully for the goal. However, the Blue Dragons faced a fierce Vizela who, even without much possession of the ball, made it very difficult. Proof of this was the goal scored in the 24th minute by Brazilian striker Cassiano, after a great pass by fellow Brazilian Guilherme Schettine.
In the second half, the game remained balanced, with good chances for both sides. However, in the 18th minute, Fábio Vieira kicked Zagbayou in the arm and the referee awarded a penalty. The same Fábio Vieira moved the goalkeeper and widened. To give the final numbers to the match, Evanilson (ex-Fluminense) headed hard, after a corner hit by Bruno Costa, and scored his sixth goal in the competition.
