French midfielder Nabil Fekir has renewed for four seasons with Betis and extended his contract until June 2026, the Andalusian club announced on Wednesday. “Real Betis Balompié and Nabil Fekir have reached an agreement to extend the French player’s contract. In this way, the world champion (in 2018) remains linked to Club Verdiblanco until June 2026”, published the club.
Fekir, who joined Betis in July 2019 from Lyon, had a contract with the team until June next year.

“From the first moment, the ‘verdiblanco’ player became a key part of the team and one of the reference points of the Real Betis Balompié project”, reads the note.
In the current season, the Frenchman played 23 games, with six goals and provided four assists.
This is Betis’ third major renewal for the season, after Borja Iglesias and Sergio Canales, both also until 2026, and Chilean coach Manuel Pellegrini, until 2025.
