Bayern Munich extended the contract with Kingsley Coman, this Wednesday, until 2027. Previously, the striker’s contract would expire in June 2023.
“I’m very happy. I know we still have a lot of opportunities and big goals here. I’ve been at the club since 2015 and I’m part of a big family. Everything is perfect here. My biggest goal is to win the Champions League again,” said Coman.
According to the newspaper The team, the 25-year-old Frenchman will receive double his current salary, reaching around €17 million a year (R$ 107.9 million). With that, he will become the third highest paid player at Bayern, behind Lewandowski and Neuer.
Coman was signed permanently by the German club in 2017, after two years on loan from Juventus. In the 2020 season, he made history when he scored the winning goal in the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.
The striker has won the Bundesliga six times, won the German Cup in three years and still has six German Super Cups under his belt. In addition, it adds a European Supercup and the Champions League.
