“I have been with Azuay for almost 20 years, I am very grateful, they opened the doors for me and I obtained many achievements with them. I carry Cuenca in my heartWhen I won, I said that the medal was from Azuay, but also from Guayas, because I am from Guayaca; my heart is divided ”.
Ordóñez was born on December 12, 1987, in Guayaquil and as a child her parents took her to Cuenca, she returned to Guayaquil when she was 12 years old and competed in national championships for Guayas in the 1999, 2000 and 2001 tournaments. From there she returned to Cuenca. , for the work of his father, and represented Azuay until 2021, when he decided to defend Guayas again.
The marcher points out that there is an intention to be able to massify the march in Guayas and for that “children need to be motivated, encourage people to parents, Guayas does not have a march because they do not practice it, because, perhaps, there is no coach in this specialty. As I am a highly competitive athlete, you have to motivate the children to practice it ”.
According to Ordóñez, his training sessions are planned and in Naranjal he takes the road and covers long distances, “but when there is something specific about a competition, we need a track and there I travel to Guayaquil to train at the Alberto Spencer Model Stadium ”.
