Most influential person in Russian football named

The Russian Football Union (RFU) conducted a study “Russian football: an inside view”. Sports.ru shares its results.

The researchers conducted an anonymous survey among the leaders of national football and clubs, current players and coaches, as well as journalists, agents, lawyers and other sports representatives. More than half of the respondents have experience in professional performances.

According to the results, the most influential figure in domestic football was Alexander Dyukov, the current head of the RFU. 74.8 percent of respondents voted for him. In second place is the president of Krasnodar Sergei Galitsky. Evgeny Giner, head of the capital’s CSKA Moscow, rounds up the top three most influential people in Russian football.

Another representative of the RFU, Alexander Alaev, became the fourth in the list of the most influential figures. He is the Secretary General of the Union.
