With a goal from an ex-Santista, Estoril takes the lead, but Porto comes back

Playing away from home, the Porto beat Estoril 3-2, this Saturday, for the 17th round of the Portuguese Championship. With the triumph, the Dragons remain in the lead of the competition, with 47 points. On the other hand, Estoril remains in fifth place.

The hosts opened 2-0 in the first half. At 38, shortly after having a goal disallowed for offside, Estoril opened the scoring with former Santos player Arthur Gomes. The attacker cut to the right and kicked from afar. The ball deflected the Porto defender and the ball covered the goalkeeper. Five minutes later, André Franco, in penalty kick, widened.

Porto scored their first goal of the match three minutes into the second half. Luis Díaz crossed for Evanilson, who finished with a fish. The goalkeeper saved, but Taremi scored on the rebound. The tie came at 39, with a goal from Luis Díaz. At the end of the game, shirt seven appeared again, this time to serve Francisco Conceição, who guaranteed the victory for the visitors.

Porto’s next match will be against Vizela, this Wednesday, for the Portuguese Cup. Estoril remains focused on the Portuguese Championship and faces Arouca, next Saturday.
