Daniel Alves assists, but Barcelona is in the draw with Granada away from home

Barcelona and Granada drew 1-1 this Saturday, in a game valid for the 20th round of the Spanish Championship. The game was not played in Estádio Nuevo Los Cármenes

The Catalan goal was scored by forward Luuk de Jong, who took advantage of a cross by Daniel Alves, in the 12th minute of the second half. This was Dani’s second game since returning to Barça after a spell at São Paulo.

With 10 minutes remaining, midfielder Gavi was sent off for a second yellow card. Despite being warned, the 17-year-old made a reckless entry and went to the locker room early.

In the 43rd minute of the final stage, forward Antonio Puertas left everything the same for the home team, also taking advantage of the aerial game.

With this result, Barcelona is in sixth place, with 32 points. The team is 14 points behind leaders Real Madrid.

Granada, in turn, is in 12th position in La Liga, with 24 points.

Earlier, also for the 20th round, Levante beat Mallorca 2-0 and Real Sociedad beat Celta de Vigo 1-0.
