Johana Ordóñez delivers a subtitle to Guayas in the 35 km of the national march; Magali Bonilla, from Azuay, wins gold | Other Sports | sports

National tournament marked the start of the official competitions of the World Athletics Federation for the 2022 season.

The azuaya Magali bonilla was the winner of the test of the 35 kilometers which was carried out as part of the National Championship March, in Machala, and that opened the competition calendar of the World Athletics (World Athletics Federation).

This distance is new at the official level and it is promoted because the 50 kilometers in which it was competed had a lot of questioning due to the strenuous and it was withdrawn as part of the Olympic Games tryouts.

Bonilla for the distance timed 2 hours, 53 minutes and 48 seconds, standing out as a championship record; while Johana Ordóñez, who once again represented Guayas in an official competition, finished second with 2 hours, 56 minutes and 38 seconds; the third place went to Paola Perez, from the Goal 42 team, who put in 2 hours, 59 minutes and 37 seconds.

In other results, the imbabureña Glenda Morejon She showed again that she is the best in the 20,000 meters by winning the victory after timing 1 hour, 33 minutes and 6 seconds; while Karla Jaramillo, also from Imbabura, finished second, with a time of 1 hour, 35 minutes and 12 seconds; Paula Torres, from Azuay, the bronze was hung with 1 hour, 41 minutes and 6 seconds.

Chimborazo stood out in the 10,000 meters by finishing in the first and third locker. Maria Jose Mendoza it reached the gold medal with a time of 49 minutes and 33 seconds; Sara Alejandra Encalada, from Azuay, with 52 minutes and 52 seconds, the silver medal was hung; while Maria Belen Mendoza, with 53 minutes and 23 seconds he obtained the bronze.

In the 5,000 meters the victory went to Karen Daniela Litardo, from Azuay, with a record of 25 minutes and 10 seconds; the silver medal went to Maria Augusta Mendoza, from Chimborazo, set a time of 25 minutes and 23 seconds; while Manuela Carolina Piñacela, from Azuay, with 26.24 minutes, was left with the bronze medal.

Finally in the 3,000 meters, the winner was Katherine DayannaBarreto, from Azuay; second ended Maria Elena Portilla, also from Azuay; Y Keyla parra, from Chimborazo, won the bronze. (D)
