The Russian national biathlon team took first place in the single mixed relay at the fifth stage of the World Cup in Oberhof, Germany. The correspondent of “Lenta.ru” informs about it.
Russian biathletes Kristina Reztsova and Anton Babikov finished first. They covered the distance in 41 minutes 37.1 seconds. The second place was taken by representatives of Austria – Lisa Teresa Hauser and Simon Eder. The third place was taken by Ukrainian biathletes Daria Blashko and Artem Tishchenko.
Prior to that, the Russian national team became the best in a single mixed in February 2015. Then the victory was won by Yana Romanova and Alexey Volkov.
On January 7, Reztsova failed to become one of the winners in the sprint. The Russian took seventh place. The best was the Norwegian biathlete Marta Reiseland.
Also on January 7, Alexander Loginov won the sprint race. For the Russian, this was the first gold of the season.
The stage of the World Cup in Oberhof will end on January 9.
