David Trezeguet, world champion with France, is in Guayaquil

The former French footballer will give a press conference this Friday at a hotel in the Puerto Principal.

The historical footballer of the France team David Trezeguet arrived at Guayaquil around 09:20 this Thursday. The 1998 world champion in France is scheduled to appear before the media on Friday at a hotel in the Main Port.

“We will see. Everything at the right time ”, were the only words that were emitted by whoever was one of the River Plate figures in the return to the first division of Argentine football after the tragic decline, in 2011, to the sports press that was present at the airport, in the north of the city.

Trezeguet’s presence in Guayaquil is due to the project of José Auad, an Emelec partner who in recent months has expressed his intention to be president of the millionaire institution; however, his list has not been officially registered.

According to the records of the specialized site TransfermarktTrezeguet, 44, played a total of 540 games in which he scored 265 goals and gave 29 assists. He made his debut with the French national team on January 28, 1998 and since then has played 71 games and had 34 invoices.

In his record, he has a World Cup, a European Championship, two Italian Scudettos, two Italian Super Cups, two French leagues, a European Under-19, a French Super Cup and a Serie B title in Italy.

He put an end to his professional soccer career on January 20, 2015. His last club was Pune City in the Indian league. (D)
