Djokovic’s father revealed his future plans

The father of the first racket of the world Novak Djokovic Srdjan Djokovic spoke about the further actions of the athlete after the refusal of an Australian visa, writes RIA Novosti

Djokovic Sr. revealed the athlete’s future plans and announced his return from Australia to Serbia. “Our pride, our Novak is back. We should all greet him properly, ”he urged.

Earlier it became known that the Australian authorities canceled Djokovic’s visa and ordered him to leave the country. The athlete did not provide adequate proof required to enter Australia. It is noted that Djokovic’s lawyers are in the process of appealing the decision.

On January 5, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison delivered an ultimatum to Djokovic and said that he was waiting for medical confirmation from him about the ban on being vaccinated against the coronavirus. Otherwise, he promised to send the tennis player home.

Djokovic was denied entry to Australia because his visa does not imply the entry into it of data on the medical withdrawal from vaccination against COVID-19. The athlete planned to take part in the Australian Open, which is scheduled from January 17 to 30.
