McGregor wanted to fight Oliveira

Irish mixed martial artist (MMA) Conor McGregor hinted at a desire to fight Brazilian Charles Oliveira. McGregor posted a photo of his opponent on Instagram.

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) champion McGregor wanted to fight current title holder Oliveira. He posted a photo of the opponent with the Brazilian footballer Neymar. “I will smoke them both,” – signed the picture McGregor.

On December 13, McGregor made it clear that he intends to fight the Brazilian. He demanded a title fight with Oliveira, who defended his belt on December 12. The Brazilian defeated American challenger Dustin Poirier ahead of schedule, using a choke hold. On December 14, Oliveira agreed to McGregor’s challenge, offering to meet soon.

McGregor was injured in his third fight against Poirier in July of this year. At the end of the first round, the Irishman broke his leg. McGregor’s return is expected in the spring of 2022.

McGregor became the UFC champion in two weight classes. He has only 22 wins and six defeats.
