Russian skier Alexander Bolshunov finished second in the overall Tour de Ski standings. The correspondent of “Lenta.ru” informs about it.
Bolshunov finished seventh in the final race at the Tour de Ski. This result allowed him to keep the second position in the general classification of the stage race.
The winner of the Tour de Ski -2022 is the Norwegian Johannes Klebo. In previous seasons, Bolshunov twice became the leader of the stage.
The 10 km uphill mass start for men was won by the Norwegian Sur Rete, who covered the distance in 31 minutes and 42.1 seconds. The second was Russian Denis Spitsov, who was 2.4 seconds behind. Germany’s Friedrich Moch completed the top three, 18.9 seconds back. Another Russian, Artem Streltsov, finished tenth.
Earlier on January 4, Natalya Nepryaeva became the first Russian skier to win the overall Tour de Ski standings. Before that, she twice became the second in her career.
