Ferrán Torres is featured at Barcelona and president says Haaland’s signing is “possible”

Barcelona introduced forward Ferrán Torres this Monday, and the player can now make his debut for the Catalan team. President Joan Laporta took advantage of the press conference to put the club’s name on the transfer market.

The official did not directly quote Erling Haaland, but when asked about the Norwegian from Borussia Dortmund, he said that any hiring is viable if it is executed well.

“We made an exception by hiring Ferrán without even having a salary margin. Work is being done to have this time off”, he said.

“The coaching staff cannot stop striving to build a great team. It’s our responsibility. Anything is possible if done right. And if it goes like that, I’m sure it will go very well”, he added.

About an alleged deal with the yellow comet, Joan highlighted the ambition and potential that Barcelona can have financially in the market.

“Let me not talk about players because it doesn’t benefit us, it only increases their value. We are working to strengthen ourselves”, he began.

“We continue to be a reference. We want to do a good job so that Barça regains the specific weight it should have. The resurgence is a reality and the market has noticed”, concluded the director.
