Russian footballer described Karpin in three words

The forward of “Rostov” Nikolay Komlichenko described the head coach of the Russian national football team Valery Karpin in three words. He is quoted by Match TV.

“Karpin is a top coach, top motivator and top man,” the footballer said. He noted that the coach of the national team has no negative sides.

Komlichenko remembered Karpin’s work at Rostov. “In working together, I liked how he saw me on the field, what he wanted from me. What I really liked was that he answered my questions openly and with the utmost honesty. Yes, he demands, but at the same time he does everything for us, he gives himself completely, ”the footballer shared. Komlichenko stressed that the coach, together with the team, analyzed tactics to the smallest detail, all the guys knew who and where to run.

On December 28, the player of Dynamo Moscow and the Russian national football team Arsen Zakharyan shared his opinion about Karpin. “Leader” – in one word described the 18-year-old midfielder of the head coach of the national team. Zakharyan added that he considers Karpin’s most valuable advice not to eat sweets and take care of yourself.

Karpin took over the Russian national team in July after the departure of Stanislav Cherchesov. At first, the specialist combined positions in the national team and in Rostov, but soon left the club. The Russian national team led by Karpin completed the 2022 World Cup qualifying tournament in second place in the group. The team will continue to fight for the right to play at the World Cup in the play-offs.
