Olympic champion in figure skating Alexei Yagudin spoke to the fans of Evgenia Medvedeva. He left the corresponding comment under the post on Instagram.
The former skater wrote that he erases all insults against Medvedeva and another Russian figure skater Alina Zagitova, who periodically appear under posts in his account and called these people inadequate. “But the medical care is inadequate,” he added.
On September 29, Yagudin praised Zagitova’s progress as a TV presenter. He stated that the skater has become less likely to need editors’ tips and is able to come up with questions to the participants herself on the go.
At the same time, Doctor of Philology Elena Malysheva compared the work of Zagitova and Medvedeva as TV presenters. In her opinion, the latter looks more professional.
Zagitova, together with Yagudin, is leading the new season of the Ice Age show. Medvedeva, who previously also acted as a host, now participates in the project in tandem with blogger Dania Milokhin.
Zagitova is the 2018 Olympic champion, Medvedeva is the silver medalist of the Games.
