On Saturday, Everton announced the signing of Ukrainian left-back Vitaliy Mykolenko, 22, from Dynamo Kiev.
With a bond signed for four seasons, the value of the player’s transfer is around 21 million euros (R$ 131 million), according to the British press.
“I always dreamed of playing in the Premier League,” Mykolenko told the Liverpool club’s TV channel. “Football was born in England and I think my style of play will adapt very well here,” he added.
Mykolenko was with the Ukraine team that reached the quarter finals of the Euro-2020 and played in the Champions League with Dynamo in the last two seasons.
His signing could result in the departure of Frenchman Lucas Digne, who has not been taken advantage of by Everton coach Rafael Benitez.
