In a game of six goals, Manchester United loses to Leicester by the English; City defeats Burnley

Manchester United failed to return to the G4 of the Premier League this Saturday. The team was defeated by Leicester City by 4-2, away from home, and remained with 14 points in fifth place in the competition.

The hosts started the first half creating the best opportunities, but United responded immediately and opened the scoring with a beautiful goal from Greenwood. On minute 19, the forward received Bruno Fernandes on the right side, cut to the middle and hit a long-range bomb in the angle of goalkeeper Schmeichel, leaving the visitors ahead.

However, Leicester reached the tie with another great goal at 31. Maguire blundered on the ball and was disarmed by Iheanacho. The player moved forward and touched for Tielemans, who sent a slap in the corner, with no chance of defense for De Gea, who just watched the ball enter.

In the final 45 minutes, the two teams slowed the pace a little and the game was balanced, but Leicester managed to turn the match around at 33. After a corner kick in the area, Soyuncu took advantage of the ball in the area to hit the net and put the owners of the house in front.

You Red Devils they didn’t give up, went on the attack and tied the game again four minutes later. Rashford received a shot from Lindelof, ran free and crashed into Schmeichel’s exit to score United’s second. However, on Leicester’s ball, Ayoze Pérez advanced on the right and passed behind for Vardy to finish first and score Leicester’s third.

Manchester’s team tried to push for another draw, but Daka made another draw for Leicester at 46 and confirmed the home team’s triumph.
