Monaco signs side Vanderson, ex-Grêmio

This Saturday, Monaco announced the hiring of right-back Vanderson, who was in the Guild. The player signed a 5-year contract with the French club.

“I am very happy to join AS Monaco, a historic club in the French league with an important European dimension. It is also a club in which many Brazilians shined. I am very happy to have this opportunity to join such a beautiful project. I thank the club for the trust it has placed in me and Grêmio for having accompanied me so far. I’m determined to work to integrate myself as quickly as possible and bring my qualities to the group”, said the athlete in an interview on the club’s official website.

Vanderson, 20 years old, has been playing at the base of the team from Rio Grande do Sul since 2018. In 2020, he received his first opportunity in the professional team and conquered space among the starters last season.

“Grêmio thanks Vanderson for his professional efforts and wishes him success throughout his career”, published Immortal.

Tricolor has been reformulating its squad after relegation to Serie B. In addition to Vanderson, Rafinha and Alisson also left the club. On the other hand, the team brought reinforcements, such as Bruno Alves, Orejuela and Janderson.
