Russian skier Natalya Nepryaeva won the classic style sprint in the fourth race of the Tour de Ski. The correspondent of “Lenta.ru” informs about it.
The Russian woman covered the distance in two minutes and 36.41 seconds. Second place went to Johanna Hagström from Sweden, 0.32 seconds behind the winner. Finnish representative Juhanna Matintalo closed the top three. She finished the race 0.86 seconds behind the leader.
Tatyana Sorina also took part in the final. The Russian took sixth place.
Nepryaeva won her first personal victory this season. As part of the Tour de Ski, the Russian woman became the bronze medalist in the classic 10 km time trial in the first stage of the multi-day race in Lenzerheide, Switzerland. The victory in the sprint race allowed Nepryaeva to lead the overall classification of the Tour de Ski.
