The Legia footballer broke the silence. He told what the attack on the bus looked like

Silence in the locker room and noise in the bus – this was the case after the loss in Płock (0: 1). Already the twelfth defeat in the league had serious consequences: Marek Gołębiewski quit being a coach, and hooligans in the colors of Legia broke into the club bus and attacked the players. The police intervened.

Ihor Charatin told about the whole event in an interview with the Ukrainian YouTuber in the program “Kick and run”.

– When we were returning from the away game with Wisła Płock to the training base, a group of 20 or 30 fans stopped us. We realized that the situation was not fun. They started getting on the bus one by one. Nobody expected that. The first to enter started screaming loudly. I felt like a hostage. The guys in masks came right behind him. They walked slowly on the bus and then started screaming. At some point, everyone stopped. Thought there would be some shit out of this. Two colleagues were hit during these events. At one point the police came and the guys got off the bus. I admit that I did not know how to behave? Speak out? To answer or not to answer? Charatin said.

He also talked about the ongoing crisis, one of the biggest in the history of Legia Warsaw.

– As for the crisis, at some point the situation became as complicated as possible. All fans identify with the club very much and experience what is happening there. But in Legia it is visible in a special way. In the situation we have today, everyone is to blame and should take the blame. There shouldn’t be anything like this – ah, it’s not my fault or the case. Everyone is to blame – from footballers to the president. I understand the fans, because you have to try. The results should definitely be better. Everyone cares about what is happening and they feel it very much, ‘added Charatin.

He also poured hope into the fans’ hearts for a better tomorrow. – Now a new coach has arrived. I think he can give a good direction to improve the situation. With God’s help, he will be able to arrange everything so that it will be okay, admitted Charatin.

Football is not a sport for Poles. Mioduski won’t last long either

I have read a few appeals against calling the attackers who attacked Legia’s players fans. I deeply disagree with that. We have such fans. This is how the football community raised them. And let’s be honest: no one has the power or the determination to change it. But this is only a symptom of the disease that consumes Polish football

Legia Warszawa takes the penultimate place in the league after 19 rounds. He has fifteen points. He loses three to the safe, fifteenth place – Górnik Łęczna. Polish champions will return to the league on February 4. Then they will play against Zagłębie Lubin (at 20.30).
