The expert called the error to insert exercises on the press at the end of the training. In his opinion, the execution of twisting or planks at the end of each workout constantly overloads the abdominal muscles and make efforts useless. Duval considered that it was necessary to conduct three to six training for a press per week.
Duval recommended to include in training the knees to the chest, side bar, exercise climbing with jumps, a bar with turns, as well as sitapas. To fulfill the latter, you need to lie on your back, bending your legs in your knees. Next, you need to raise the body and sit down, while raising your hands up.
Earlier, fitness trainer Ivanna Idush advised the exercise against a protruding abdomen. She said that the “bicycle” perfectly works out the deep and superficial muscles of the press.
