On December 17, 2024, it became known that in the blood of the 24-year-old midfielder, Chelsea discovered prohibited substances after an unscheduled audit. He later passed the testing on the polygraph.

Mudrik moved to Chelsea from Shakhtar in January 2023 for 70 million euros. In the current season, the Ukrainian took part in the seven matches of the English Premier League and was not noted by effective actions.
