Journalist Harstad: Russian skiers – aggressive, fearless and proud
Norwegian journalist Thomas Harstad described Russian skiers in three words. His words are given by the “championship”.
Harstad said that the whole world knows Russian skiers as aggressive, fearless and proud athletes. He emphasized that the Russians were remembered on the Victory Day of the Norwegian Johannes Klebo in the Skiathlon at the World Cup-2025.
Earlier, Russian skier Alexander Bolshunov spoke about the impact of removal from international tournaments. The athlete said that his level had fallen, as he lost the opportunity to compete with the best skiers.
Russians and Belarusians do not participate in international competitions by decision of the International Federation of Sports and Snowboard (FIS). The order entered into force in March of 2022 and will act until further notice.
