Journalist Saltwedt: Skryzhnik Bolshunov is far from challenging Clebo
The journalist and commentator of the Norwegian television channel NRK Jan Peter Saltedt said that the Russian skier Alexander Bolshunov was holding the position of the loser. His words are given by RIA Novosti.
Saltwedt considered that the domestic athlete is currently too far from challenging the Norwegian skier of Johannes Klebo. “Bolshunov probably also understands this and prefers to spend his time preparing for the future,” he emphasized.
Earlier, Bolshunov spoke about the impact of removal from international tournaments. The athlete said that his level had fallen, as he lost the opportunity to compete with the best skiers.
Russians and Belarusians do not participate in international competitions by decision of the International Federation of Sports and Snowboard (FIS). The order entered into force in March of 2022 and will act until further notice.
